o2 sensors
i have a 2000 max gle. my question is how do you know when an o2 sensor is bad without knowing any codes.what kind of symptoms would it produce? any ideas anyone?

If there arent any codes more than likely it isnt bad. But if it is bad it probably wouldnt pass emmisions.

Fuel economy can still decrease as an O2 sensor fails gradually.
