how do you remove radio from 01 max.

how do you remove the radio from a 2001 maxima, if anyone knows step by step?

Get a plastic trim stick or flat-bladed screwdriver. Pop out the top vent assy. and the trim panel around the shifter. Remove the ashtray insert and screw; remove ashtray. Remove the four, gold colored screws and pull the whole radio/heater control assy. straight out. Disconnect electrical and antennae connections, as necessary. Once you get the assy. out, you can disassemble to remove the radio from it.
