I went to look and bid on an 02 Maxima at a sealed bid repo sale yesterday. The car has 49,000 miles and is in really good condition for a repo. It has the auto, and base interior... and besides the worn out tires, it looks to be a really good buy. The car has a few scratches on the bumpers but the paint looks good. So I was just thinking on what it is worth. I have never bought a Nissan before at one of these sales. What do you guys think this car is worth?

Recently bought one myself, so did some Internet research.

49K, good condition, prob around 12.5 -- $13K private party, more stealer of course. Do your own check on kbb and edmunds.com.

Maximas don't hold value great, but IMO offer a lot of car for the money. And 02 gives you the bigger engine and HID lights.
