Break-In period

I was just wondering what the Break-In period for the VQ30 is. My mom has a 2000 maxima, and she has just a little over 6k on it.

usually 1K miles is about the break in period for the engine. The owners manual might state otherwise though.

1k miles or so... owners manuals these days usually recommend leaving the factor fill of oil in for 3750~7500 miles, though. I personally prefer to change it sooner (well, by 3750), just to be safe.
