Hi,
I am borrowing my mother in laws 1996 maxima and today I drove home from work, then to the hair salon, then to the movie store, then to the mail box. After taking the keys out to get the mail the car will not start. It's been a few hours...I tried again? any ideas? I did a search where can I find the anti-theft start relay? I just put a full tank of gas in it. This car has been driven by a nice woman who has not put much wear on a car. Now I don't know what I've done to her car? Its not the battery. All the dash lights come on when I try to crank. Also I hear a one time click. Is there a fuse that I may have blown? Are there chips in the keys? Thanks for all your help!

my husband just got home and knocked the starter with a hammer and tadal it started!

If you have to do that to the starter, it might be a good idea to replace it. It's a cheap, easy repair at least.
