does anyone know if there is actually a 97-99 version of the new greddy sp2 exhaust??... and does it sound the same as the first sp version???

I don't think they make it for the 97-99. There was a rumor that they were making it last summer/fall. But I don't think anything ever came of it.

you might want to check the org for it. I checked the greddy site again, and i did not see an SP2 for the second half of the 4th gens

Definitely check the GReddy site... or call a local GReddy dealer?

The 95-96 will fit the 97-99, but the tip depth will be off-- it will either stick out a little bit past the bumper (2"? I forget) or be tucked in a little too much. I've long since forgotten such knowledge. I think it'll stick out a hair too much (don't burn your leg on the exhaust tip!), but I have no way of checking at the moment.

is that all that's different? I thought there was some huge design difference... then couldn't you just "snip the tip"?

they do make 97-99 version... its sold on southwestautoworks... this forum is real slow w/ stuff... i posted the same question on maxima.org and they were very prompt and helpful... so for all u wonderin as i was, there is a version for the 97-99... its the same price as the 95-96 version

Yes, the slight length difference is the only difference.
