Looking for new Tires

I'm looking to get a new set of tires and i'm looking for suggestions. I see a bit of snow and a lot of wet icey conditions - it's got to handle well and I would rather spend more money now to get something with a longer tread life than have to replace them every year - any suggestions welcome.

I`ll be using my Cooper Wintermasters that I used on my former Altima. They are mounted on steel rims with chrome centres.

They were excellent last winter on the Alty, sure saves the mags.

I got them at Major Discount and I understand it is nation wide.

Sorry man. I don't see much snow and ice. We're a little short of that here in Texas, but for summer time, I can suggest Nitto 555's or if you're looking for a little extra bit get Falken Azenis sports. Only problem with the Falkens is that they come in limited sizes.

I would definitely suggest you get a cheap set of either stock steel wheels or something and get some winter tires on those. Then you won't have to worry about the performance/treadlife of your tires during the summer.
