Question Disassemble Center Console/Access Head Unit

Ok... so i apologize. i know this is a complete Noob question but i have been searching for a couple hours now and can't quite satisfy my concerns.

Could someone please help me with like step by step or baby steps instructions, even pics would be awesome, on how to disassemble the console of my 99 Max. i'd just trying to add an Aux cable to my head unit but the input is in the rear of the head unit.

i don't want to break any of the plastic clips or anything like that or get into and really have no idea. any guidance is much appreciated!! thanks

YThat said, pry out the back of the shift trim (I have a 5spd so auto may be different). The top vents/clock assembly also pry's out. Be gentle but persistent. It's kind of hard to get out but be careful not to mess it up. This will expose a bunch of screws, just start taking things apart until the whole center part of the dash comes out.
Thanks Terran.

this is from an old post.. i'll figure it out i guess..
