99 Maxima won't start. Security system?
My key remote won't click the security system off. I tried replacing the battery but I fear it may be broken. Now the car won't turn on. Sometimes the lights in the car go on for a bit but the car still won't start and after a while, everything shuts down. I called the dealer and they told me to manually unlock and lock the door but that didn't help. I think it may also be a dead battery now.
How can I reset the car alarm? What could the problem be? How easy is it to replace the key remote?
