Tire Question...

Anyone here have experience running Toyo tires? I tried to get some Dunlop A2's for my 99 SE but was told there is a national backlog for those tires and I'd have to wait a few weeks. Unfortunately, my tires need to be changed NOW! Tire guy highly recommended Toyo Proxes TPT for my car. They seem to have some great hype and 65K treadwear guarantee, but I'm not sure... wanted to hear from those that may have experience with this brand of tire.

I used to run Toyo Proxies on my T/A and loved them. IMO for the money, they are a great tire. You might want to do a global search and see if anyone else has posted about them.

Toyo's are generally pretty good. I assume this is for the stock 215/55/16 size?

Most guys run performance tires, not regular passenger car tires, so my experience is a little skewed.

Yeah Brian, the wheels are stock. The Proxies are supposed to be pretty good for performance too, at least at the level I would be driving...
