Talking HALLELUJAH...Now What???

Okay Guys new issue,
There is another 95 Maxima just like the one I crashed wtih most of the things wrong with it that are okay with mine, interior, parts, etc.

Here's the issue though.

This maxima is a automatic transmition, and mine was a manual. Other then that they are identical. I would want to make mine a manual, is that possible?

Swap a manual transmition in and put the stick right where the shifter is??

And the fuel pumps and stuff, same engine same parts right? I'm pretty sure.

That's the biggie though.

CAN I SWAP A MAXIMA MANUAL TRANNY INTO AN AUTOMATIC CAR?? please say yes.

Possible? Yes. Head over to maxima.org, a ton of guys have done the swap there. It's best to have a donor car for the swap as you'll need everything-- transmission, shift linkage, clutch pedal, clutch master/slave cylinders, flywheel, clutch, shifter trim, everything.

Given how cheap 4th gen Maximas are though, why not just buy one that's running properly with a 5-speed manual? Autotrader lists several for sale on the west coast...
