Brakes

Hello everyone. I just recently purchased a 1997 Maxima. By looking at the pads they seem to be fine. I do notice the brake pedal play is a bit much. What needs to be done to make the brakes more touchy? By changing the pads? Or do I need to check the fluid or change brake fluid oil? Thanks!

bleed your brakes and check the brake lines for any swelling, cracks, or damage.

Is it easy to bleed the brakes? I need another person to assist?

Well you dont have to have someone else with you. You need to press the brake a few times, then open the valve on the brakes. Then close the valve, brake pedal again...and so forth. It's much easier to have someone with you.
