The air bag light keeps blinking. I tried to reset it, but it still stays on. I talked to one of the places that specializes in air bags and they said there should be a code related to the air bag system. The light doesn't seem to be blinking in any pattern other than on/off. Does anybody know where I might be able to find this info. It's a 98 SE with side air bags. The bags have never been deployed, so I don't want to pay $800+ for a new one if they can reset it. when it blinks on and off it means there is a code and the system is nonfunctional. There is a bad connection (like something unplugged or cut) or a bad module. If the light stayed on then it means it didn't pass it's self test but the system will work. it's a hard code and cannot be erased until fixed.

Thanks for the info. It looks like the side air bag has an issue. Does anybody know how to remove one of them? Seems like it might be a chore, but I was wondering.
