Can anyone give me some steps to clean and/or replace the PCV valve? My Nissan Maxmia GXE '97 has more than 165K miles and still running on stock PCV. I think it would be good to clean or replace it.

Either buy a Haynes (will help TONS in the long run) or check this out on the Autozone site:

if you look at the picture, the PCV valve is located on the rear front right corner of the valve cover(see the hole?), but instead of the valve being on the side, yours is sticking up.

Of course you wont beable to see it like the picture because when I took the picture, I didnt have the intake manifold on. But you now know where it is located.
