The service costs $99 at the dealer which is obviously too expensive. Its basically an oil change and a tire rotation right?
I know nothing about car fixing but isnt a tire rotation just switching of the tires? Can't I go to my generic mechanic pay him 10 bucks and he'll move around the tires? Is there anything more to that?
let me know.

No one will do anything for 10 bucks these days... But that does'nt mean you can't. It is all in the manual
Filter is 7.50 from your local rip off artisst (oh wait I meant nissan dealership - they kill me 7.50 for the damn thing, list price, I always got wholesale at any Jeep dealership I went to for parts on my old Cherokee - anyway) 10 bhucks worth of oil from walmart (it comes in 5 gallon jugs and the pathfinder need 5.1 quarts, don't worry 5 is fine) grab a filter wrench for 5.00 (not required if you have a decent grip, but makes life easier. Grab a gallon of windshieldwasher fluid and there you have it, less than 30 bucks for your 7500 mile service.
BTW is this your first oil change at 7500 miles?
