Lightbulb Suggestions (moderators)

Hey there moderators. I just recently joined this forum as it seems to be the most visited of the pathy forums. I am a member of many other forums too. I have a few suggestions to eliminate reposts and increase membership.

1. In each model's forum, place stickies for questions always asked. This is done on many forums and for some reason not here. Okay let me be more specific, mods and repairs are discussed over and over in these forums. Or even better- let members contribute to a read only folder where pics can be posted, etc.

2. Moderators should at least to attempt to answer reasonable questions within a specific time interval. I recently posted a question about my tranny and was simply told to do a search. I have searched, I am here, lets collect all the information at this site so it grows.

3. Delete certain posts. E.g. there are many threads about people selling items then they seem to disappear. This just clogs the system. Maybe a time interval can be set up after which if the original poster doesn't reply, the thread will expire.

4. (not a suggestion) Thanks for having this forum. I know it takes alot of work. I am only offering suggestions to this site because it is the best one out there. I would like to be able to come back to this site two years from now and see that it is still here and growing. I believe the above suggestions may help in this goal.

Thanks for listening
