I knew a guy, [yes, a "cheapskate"] that made his own "split-fire" plugs, by taking a chisel, and splitting the tips of the grounding electrodes on his stock plugs. What a genius!

I remember him saying "I ain't payin' seven bucks fer a split-fire plug!
