about the timing chain it just usualy dont stop all of a sudden its a slight possiblility but if it did break it would cause the valves to possibly stick out and while you crank on it ..the pistons would hit the valves so if it turns over freely then dont worry about your timing chain do this pull the plug wires off one at a time and have some one crank on your car wile you hold it close to a ground to make sure your getting spark theres my 2 cents worth
