They do have a pretty good payload rating. And many of the 4x4 trucks have the H233B rear axle...that's over 9 INCHES in diameter...larger than the vaunted (and ubiquitous) Ford 9". The payload of these trucks is many times higher than 1/2 "full size" trucks. Pretty cool!
