'92 240sx

Hey everybody....new to the forum. I am doing research cause my old lady owns a '92 240 that recently started dying on her...diagnosis, bad distributor, bad air flow meter ground. distributor replaced with napa remanufactured part..(air flow meter ground fine via second opinion)...now car runs fine, but in 4th and 5th gear doing 55-75 mph the car surges randomly....new diagnosis is unkown? the mechanic said that their is still the possibilty that the reman. distributor is bad (crankshaft angle sensor). The car has 133k on it..and the O2 sensor, throttle position sensor etc. are all original. anybody have any ideas?

thanks for the help....
