Something everyone needs to understand is Off Topic (OT) does (more or less) follow the same
rules as the rest of NissanForums.com. However, considering this area is for discussion that is not
on topic for NissanForums.com we do not enforce the rules as strictly.
This does not mean anything goes! You will still get in trouble for breaking the rules, but within reason we do permit discussion and behavior in OT that is not tolerated elsewhere.
Given the above, there are some commonsense items you need to keep in mind when participating in here:
- You may be offended. Don't take anything personally, but if you do you need to keep your disagreement(s) to e-mail or private message
- If you don't like OT then don't read the messages. This forum is isolated from the rest of the site so it will not interfere with the "real" discussion outside
- If you don't make an effort to follow the rules your account will be permanently banned.
- Off Topic discussion and behavior needs to stay in OT
Basically, if you don't follow the rules of the site you can still get in trouble in OT. We're just willing to overlook more in here.
