Are you considering going to a warm or cold air intake? Be cautious with both, as neither will separate water from air as well as the stock air box will. The most important part is isolating the intake tract from possible water intrusion...and if you're doing a warm air intake (cone filter inside the engine compartment), to best isolate that from the hot underhood air, because you have just as much of a possibility to LOSE power as you do to GAIN it. You will, however, have the best chances of a good result, knowing that you already have other intake/exhaust modifications.
Good luck!
