Best bet would be to remove the valve cover then unbolt the rocker shaft. This will release pressure from all the valves and you can rotate the crank freely. After you get the #1 piston to TDC you can rotate the cam until it's in the proper position. Then just retighten the rocker shaft. Sounds easy but it will take some close watching to make sure the cam doesn't rotate while you're bolting the rocker shaft back down.

When loosening/tightening the rocker shaft be careful to only turn the bolts a little at a time....like one turn each....in an even sequence like 1-3-5-4-2. This will help avoid a snapped shaft.
