So then neither of you have modifications that would drastically improve horsepower from stock, and we're back to square one. It seems as if it should be a rather close race then. You might have a very slight edge on him if that chip is bogus, because his engine is only rated for 5 more horsepower, while his car weighs 383 lbs heavier (possibly more). It should still be close though, depending on how both of you shift.
