So now you tell us! By using the 2" pipe you've at least allowed the exhaust to increase its flow rate, but the stock muffler might be somewhat restrictive. So you opened up the volume of the piping but "plugged" it somewhat with a muffler with a low flow rate. I have a 24" free-flow perforated core glasspack after the cat, and then a Dynomax Ultra-flo muffler, which they claim can achieve a volumetric flow rate of 1133 cfm (which I cannot prove or disprove). It has increased power quite nicely, though. This combo allows for a higher flow exhaust without sounding "ricey". It's not much louder than stock.
