Although if your research means more Hummer-sized vehicles on the market because you don't... actually, now that I think about it, this sort of device would make all cars obsolete. There would be no need for comfort, safety crumple impact zones and sixteen airbags if the transportation is instantainious...
Are you planning on marketing this invention, if you can ever get it stable? I would hate to see all car manufactuers go under because of your apparent technical and scientific abilities.
Have you considered the consequenses of your actions? Governments might begin to outlaw cars altogether. I fear.
