It all depends upon how much the intake and chip will give him. I just checked the specs on the jetta which is at 115hp and 122lbs torque stock and your car is 110hp and 108lbs torque. However his car is about 400lbs heavier. It sounds to me like it will be close. Be sure to make no mistakes when you do race him at the track. Let us know how it goes
