I'd have the dealer (or someone) check the charge on the A/C system. I think we've discussed this before, though, and the consensus was the Xterra/Frontier A/C system is just plain too small. I don't know of anything you can do about it, nor do I know what "component" is too small. I don't have that problem on my Hardbody, so unfortunately, I can't help...except to say that it's really unacceptable for A/C on a modern vehicle to "go warm", even at idle. The A/C on my 20 year old Oldsmobile Cutlass didn't even do that.
