Well,
with 4wd you actually drift the car. Meaning you use its momentum to slide the car over the ground. With RWD essentially its a powerslide. You aren't drifting the car since the front tires usually are grabbing the whole time, its just the rears which you are moving around. 4wd drift is much more complicated to do artfully, but easier to do at the racetrack.
