Ray,

I have had 4 domestic trucks for the past several years and was just about to go back to my Chevy dealer for my 5th one when someone tipped me about the new Titan. I read lots of material then decided to run over to the Nissan dealership on my lunch hour to do a "see and feel". I test drove one and was absolutely sold. Mine is a King Cab 4x4 LE (all the bells and whistles). I had a Chevy middle of the line (cloth seats) and it would have been about 35-38k for all leather 4x4. My Titan was listed at 33,040. It has the bed extender, carpets, and mud flaps (all extras). JUst the engine and the ride are enough to change your mind. I ended up paying 31K. They arent going to deal too much for two reasons. One is that generally Nissan, Toyotas etc do not have as much of a margin as domestic cars or trucks. Secondly, this is a brand new vehicle. They have only made 100,000 of these. I reall believe for the money it is the BEST deal out there. Let me know if you have driven one yet and your thoughts. I love the channel track system in the truck bed.
