coil not firing?

Hello i recently started my 95 2.4 and got it running after installing a new fuel pump. I let it run for awhile and then turned it off. when i went to start it again it wont fire. I went through the test codes in mode 3 and it flashed 5 green and then 5 red and says every thing is ok. I put a new coil on it and still no fire. any suggestions? thanks much

are you getting anything electrical i.e. radio, lights, or turning the engine over? if yes, check your main body fuse for the engine inside the engine compartment pass side about half way to the front of the truck. then check your fuses in the pass compartment by the kick panel on the dr. side.

The closest thing i could find in that location is a box with a row of relays in it. one is an egi relay. I didnt know what it was so i swapped it with the fuel pump relay which i know is good and still no fire. Is this the main fuse you were talking about? Thanks

today i replaced the entire distributor and crank angle sensor. all fusable links are in good shape. The coil wire itself is good. I put a volt meter directly in top of the coil while someone cracked the motor. it read 9.5 volts. I took the #1 plug out and left it hooked to the wire, gorunded it and no fire. The computer still flashes good. I am lost. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks much. Oh yeah and merry christams!!!
