Engine Swap (1988 Z24 into 1994 2.4)

I have recently aquired a 1994 Nissan 4x4 with a super bad knock.I was told that the oil pump went out and she's about to throw a rod

I was wondering what all is envolved in installing a 1988 Z24 engine in my 1994 2.4 truck?

Hopefully this isnt to deeply envolved! Will the fuel injection hook up?Motor mounts the same?Exhaust manifolds?

if you have a 1994 truck and you are trying to put in a 88 motor you are going to have very many problems.

you would have to switch the wire harness and computer just to start.

everything is different..

just get another ka motor and drop it in.

Can I put the head off of the '94 onto the Z24 blockand use the fuel injection ?

the z motor has 8 spark plugs and a dual spark dizzy.

the ka has 4 plugs and a 4 spark dizzy.

so i am saying no .

u cannot switch part of the ka with the z .or visa versa.

i am not trying to tell u what u can and can't do.

anything in the world can be done.
there is probably someone who has done it.

it is just that what u are asking is not readily done.
