Yep Agreed, still my car is a hybrid Holden/Nissan......I hate it, that the Americans take "our" cars and call them their own......
Holdens CAN'T drift for shit, well the older ones with live axel rear ends want to step out even when you are not even trying....

They would have done better with a VX SS Ute......
Still, if they gear the car correctly (eg 4.11 LSD or locker), the Monaro/V8 would make a pontent drift weapon, if a little large......hmmmmm hey look a Soarer with the correct Diff ratio can drift (seen that) and that was a V8....
