On your other question -- what is the CAI's effect?
If you get the full cold air kit (in fender), it will give the engine a lot of cooler fresh air that an air box can not supply. The air intake will suck in a lot more air than a stock box. The result is more combustion in the cylinders. More air to a "fire". More power. The stock air box is contained and builds a lot of heated air which does not burn as well. Cold air is always better. You will notice a difference.
Same with the exhaust. The less restricted the engine can "exhale" the better. Now you will really notice a difference.
It all comes down to breathing for the engine. It is kind of like a human body. The more you can breath fresh air and let out the CO -- the better you are.
But you do not want to totally unrestrict this engine on the "exhale" exhaust. It needs some back pressure to run properly.
Also, you will void the warranty for your MAP sensor - so be gentle with it when you install the CAI. It is delicate and sensitive. If you drop it it is probably done
Same with the exhaust. Get a new muffler pipe and you voided the exhaust. SO WHAT - it's gonna rust anyway!
SO all in all -- have fun!!
