ok well if you care the real reason is that, like a cold start, the sr20 engine management will keep the idle artificially high to give time for the alloy block to cool while not stalling after a hard run or freeway driving.

You can easily get the thing to stall/near stall if you say, pull off the freeway then suddenly depress the clutch while still going 70, it goes beserk when the rpm drops like that.

besides the finiky rollerrockers valve accuators (turbo fans will hate the rev-limiting accuators). its a nice compact lightweight engine, the egr (which i disconnected since its just full of carbon) would be the other complaint.
