dude, I think your SR20 has problems. at 139k, it'll need more than a tune up. your fuel injectors probably need to be professionally cleaned (not the can stuff you buy at the auto stores). throttle bottle cleaning (physically take it out and brush the darn thing inside out to get the gunk out). you may be losing compression as well with that mileage. yes, get a DET if you can, unfortunately here in New England, you have to get it shipped... eBay would be the way to go to find one fast.
