That really sucks. But here's the thing. It'n not the chain guide! Why would it be. It's supposed to be there and it doesn't move. So obviously it's something that's causing slack in the chain. ie oil pressure. Does your motor just turn and not start? You probably need to find TDC and re time your motor if you didn't screw something else up.
