1982 280ZX (non Turbo) Engine help
I own a 1982 280ZX non-turbo. I didn't have to use it for about 2 weeks and did not start the car at all. I needed to use it about 10 days ago, so started it up to warm it up. It was pretty cold out, so I let it run for 15 minutes. Went to leave for work and the car died. It would not start back up. It will crank, but it won't start. I have gas in it, my battery is charged, and I can hear the fuel pump.. I tried starter fluid, but that did nothing. I did a spark check, which showed no spark. I replaced the ignition coil, but it still will not turn over. It did sound different than before, though. As I was trying to crank it up, it went faster. It tried harder, but still would not turn over. I live out in the country, so having it towed to my mechanic is not a consideration, it's just too far, so I have to try to do it myself.
