i have a 1981 280zx with about 70000 miles. I want to do a motor swap with a motor with a turbo, was wondering what my choice are and what would be the best route to go.. a friend was telling me that a vg30et would work out nice??

its expensive to do the swap sometimes cause of the v shape rb20, 25, 26's is an easier swap you get more power cause you can find more turbo parts

Stick with the L28. Just turbo it. I am running 11.80s with a junkyard L28e and bolt ons + turbo.
