Rachel NissanForums Newbie Join Date: Aug 2008 Posts: 1	Help! Need general 280 buying info!! I love the 280! What is the difference 280Z vs 280ZX? And is a 5 speed transmission always a T-5? Are the 5 speed manuals always Borg-Warner? Is there a website that will help me de-code a vin #? What were the different engines and transmissions offered on the 280's? What are the 'best' years to look at buying? I am looking at buying a 1979, but I'm more interested in getting the 'right' car, not necessarily a specific year. I want a manual transmission. Is there a website that has enough general information to help me make an informed decision?
