New Owner

Hi, my name is Sagacity.

I'm the proud owner of a newly acquired 1983 280zx. Not my dream car, (240z S30 '71) but it's still awesome. I've always wanted one and it's mine now, troubles and all. I bought it for $1,000 which was a steep buy but oh well. It has 250k miles on it, but the previous owner definitely tried to take care of it. The only problem it really has is that the pads in the trannie grind a little in first gear, it's a bit rough.

In closing, are there any suggestions? Comments? Pricing's?

I'd like to know how much getting those pads replaced is going to be, I know it'll be a pretty penny.

Thank You!

the grinding is probably comming from your clutch and not your transmission.. if your having a hard time getting it into first and second gear without it grinding a little bit.. you might just need to adjust your clutch..
