I just noticed that there's a 240ZX for sale that I had seen before, about 4 months ago, and I'm thinking about getting it but I'd like some info on the car...Which seems to be pretty hard to find lol. What's a reasonable price for one in good condition, with just a couple of cracks in the windshield? I can probably talk the guy down to $3,000 (Canadian). Also, if anybody knows any info on it, like whether it's an interference engine, timing chain or belt, reliability issues, etc.

Also, what are the specs on it in terms of horsepower, engine code and so on.

Come to think of it, was there ever a 240ZX or was it only the 240Z? lol.

Any help/comments are greatly appreciated, thanks in advance guys.

ummm thats gotta be a typo... there was never a 240ZX or was there ever a 240Z made in 1989... in 1989 the only Z made was the Z31 (300ZX) i think the seller means 240SX not ZX..... the 240Z were made in 1970-73

Maybe they meant 1969. Some of the 1st year 240s were probably titled as '69s. Very nice classic Z, if it's at a reasonable price I'd jump on it. One of the few true sports oriented Zs.

M'kay nevermind, I bet that car is an '89 240SX. Just happened to think about that..... I've seen errors like that before with those cars.
