Electrical nightmare!!

No electrical power. I have no power to my 1979 280zx after installing a rebuilt engine. I labeled everything before I removed the bad engine. I have a new battery, took starter to parts store and it tested good. There is no corrosion on any terminal. The battery cables are good, and clean. The fusible links are fine. Ignition switch is replaced, still no power. The engine grounds are good. No headlights, no horn, no dash lights. Help!!!!

get a light tester and see if your getting power to the fusable links.. theres a wire coming from the posiytive side of the bat that goes directly to the fusable links.. if your not getting any power to the links id suspect a bad connection from your battery

I have 13.5 volts before and after the fusible links.

I switched from fuel injection to a four barrel carb. I guess this is part of my electrical problem.

switching to carb from FI should affect your electrical that much. it should have nothing to do with your headlights from working.. im thinking it has to do with your new igniton switch. see if your getting power to it. and check your fuse box to see if theres power going to it.. you might just have to get yourself a haynes manuel and trace all the electrical wires to see where your not getting power.
