70-80K miles on a KA is nothing. i'd say if it has less than ~125K it should hold up to turbo duty just fine. make sure you get a boost controller to keep it below 7psi until you upgrade the fuel system, but after that you're good to go. once you surpass ~12psi or 150K mi you should invest in a rebuild to be safe though (and so you can boost higher
