Anyways, here's your excuse to tell wifey you need the racepipe!
Here's why: The tear in that mesh will only get worse with age
and might cause exhast gas leakage. That section is called the
"flex pipe" and acts as a collector of exhaust gases. As the gases
heat up and cool down that section of the pipe will expand and contract accordingly. With a tear like that, the gases will not be
properly disbursed downstream. I'd get it replaced immediately preferably with a Stillen racepipe like mine!
