SE-R Spec V torque steer
Since this forum restricts new users, im forced to ask this here.
Does anyone have a solution for the somewhat dangerous problem of torque steer in the new Sentra models? (i dont know if it was a problem in older models) I have a 2002 SE-R Spec V that I've driven about 13k miles in and love it, but the torque steer is an ongoing problem. I don’t know if this is a problem with the spec V's suspension?
For those that don’t know what I mean:
In a tight turn under acceleration, the front wheels do not straighten out smoothly. The car pulls to the left or right somewhat unpredictably. I have to wrestle the wheel to get the car back on track after a hard turn.
Ive done my share of suspension design for mechanical engineering projects and I fear that the torque steer problem is with the wishbone geometry, not with the springs.
Does anyone have a solution?
