When the new GTR (Vspec) come's out its goal is this
what nissan were trying to do at the ring
they started officially trying to get the 911 twin turbo 4wd(7min 40sec) but demolished that, they then were trying to get the unofficially GT2 and they got that then they started trying to get the Carrera GT(7mins28) but they only got 1 unofficial chance because the car was due to be released and missed it by 2 seconds and the road was damp.So the offical lap time of the new GTR is 7mins.36sec even though it went faster unofficially. so the new evo-vspec model which will be lighter and more power and should be expected to do a 7mins 26secs or lower.
so far the time go like this for stock cars 2003 Porsche Carrera GT stock pulled a 7:28.00: around the ring and then its the stock 2005 Pagani Zonda C12 F running 7:32.00 then stock 2004 Koenigsegg CCR with 7:34.00:
So the offical lap time of the new GTR is 7mins.36sec even though it went faster unofficially. so the new evo-vspec model which will be lighter and more power and should be expected to do a 7mins 26secs or lower.
It does seem very possible for a 3500 - 3700lb lightened gtr with 600hp could do it.

This is what is amazing, if it isn't on racing slicks or a race version of it.
the time you are showing are not for stock car's ?????????????????
yea it dose seem very possible that the evo vspec will do it and it will be the fastest stock car around the nordschleife in the world
(3500 - 3700lb lightened gtr with 600hp could do it) its not only lighter and has more hp it all so has the vspec 4wd system with active rear diff and full electronic controled braking and stearing and all that stuff alot of crazy stuff race suspension and stuff like that so its not just the weight remember in the r33 GTR range the vspec had the same hp as the non vspec but was more heavy then the non vspec but the vspec was still faster on the track coz of the vspec rear diff and the full electronics on its 4wd system so the evo vspec being lighter and having more hp and all the vspec stuff it will be alot fater on the nordschleife it could even do faster then what they are thinking it will do coz they dont want to set a goal thats to high not sure what tyres it will come out on it stock but they will be street legal
Sorry guys yall info is kinda old because as of right now the Chevrolet Corvette holds the fastest time for Nordschleife at a 7 26 but i want to see wat the lightened version of the new GT-R can do i think it will be an interesting battle of the two.
