I really hate to be a buzzkill i know this car is fast. If your going to put other car times down you might as well include the 911 gt2 that ran 7:32. I love nissan as much as the next guy and i know this is not a porcshe enthusiest site but i have to add this one.

i think the carrera GT1 is faster then the new GTR it was the car that the GTR was trying to beat i think

they started officially trying to get the 911 twin turbo 4wd(7min 40sec) but demolished that, they then were trying to get the unofficially GT2 and they got that then they started trying to get the Carrera GT(7mins28) but they only got 1 unofficial chance because the car was due to be released and missed it by 2 seconds and the road was damp.So the offical lap time of the new GTR is 7mins.36sec even though it went faster unofficially. so the new evo-vspec model which will be lighter and more power will probably go around a should be expected a 7mins 26secs or lower.
