And just so there's no mistaking, I believe I know what sway bars look like. I have a '90 240SX and I just pulled and then reinstalled both my front and rear bars. I have also seen the sway bars on my friend's B14. I'd imagine the bars on the B12 should look similar to those.
Any online B12 parts microfiche that I can look at?
Maybe I should just go down to my local dealership and ask the parts guy...

I would go to the nissan dealer and check there diagrams. The front sway bar should connect to each control arm and the rear should connect under each drum brake. If you're still dealing with it by this weekend I will take a picture of the sway bars and post it for you.
