VE engines can use the same parts as an SR20DE.....
but the VET is much more expensive and hard to find.

Most people think it would be better to Turbo charge an VE.. thinking it'll pack out more power...

but getting an SR20DE and putting in a turbo with all the accessories and extra's would be a hell of alot cheaper than an VE.

The main differences between VE and DE engines.....
are *basically* compression ratio's and the VVL (variable valve and lift) which you can swap around into an DE.
Also VE engines are designed for AWD or FWD concepts.... so putting it into a RWD situation would be a bit tougher and would involve custom fabrication...

but since your talking about an SR20DET or an SR20VET .. go for an SR20DET, cheaper.. better parts.. less work...
